From the North and West

In Moreton-in-Marsh turn off the A429 (Fosseway) onto the A44 heading towards Chipping Norton and Oxford. After about 2.5 miles turn left signposted Barton and Long Compton. On entering the village of Barton-on-the-Heath do not take the first turn on the right sign posted Little Compton, but continue until you see the village green on your right, with its large oak tree. Turn right alongside the green and continue down the 'no through road'. Bakers Farm Cottage is on the right at the bottom, approached through an up-and-over door in the stone wall.

From London and the East

Take the A44 from Oxford, passing through Woodstock. About 2 miles beyond Enstone you come to traffic lights where the A44 turns left towards Chipping Norton. Continue straight on here on the A3400 and go straight on at the next roundabout. In Long Compton turn left off the A3400 just past the village shop, sign posted Barton. Turn left again and in 2 miles you reach Barton-on-the Heath. Turn left in the centre of the village alongside the village green and left again down the 'no through road'. Bakers Farm Cottage is on the right at the bottom, approached through an up-and-over door in the stone wall.
